Growing up in SL1
I had the brilliant opportunity of facilitating an intergenerational project in slough fo Small Green Shoots. The young people worked with me for three weeks, the aim was to create pieces of work that reflect their upbringing in Slough. Through the project, the group worked with Age Concern. The good folks at Age Concern gave us their time to talk about how they found slough. Some of the clients lived in Slough since 1966! the interesting part about this project was the point in which both groups found similar grounds i.e. respecting the area, up holding the culture etc.
